Chapter 1: The Game Concept

Before you implement a game you need a concept, else you end up missing importing things which will be hard to add in the end. To find out what your game needs you can follow this game design and implemenation overview. Make sure you know the answers to the design questions before you start programming.

For my game I for example worked out a 14 step to-do list you saw on the first page -- plus a really really long document where I describe my setting and my background story in full detail.
